Nokia E71 - Review and deals from Dongles4u
Editor's CommentsThe Nokia E71 seems to have it all to take over and build on the E71 QWERTY messengers' expertise. The Nokia E71 is one in amongst the best-equipped Nokia smartphones on the market today. It's quick, responsive and carries a vast amount of features for its compact size. Connectivity on the E71 is at its highest, boasting every single connectivity option that is currently available. Add the GPS receiver and the slim, suave metallic design and you've got yourself a smartphone that walks tall with the rest. Infact, the only step down on the new Nokia E71 is the smaller display, which can be instantly over looked and forgotten about. What's in the boxThe retail package of Nokia E71 is quite worth a smile. Included with the phone is Nokia's fastest and smallest charger, which is alot more portable, and practicle for the man / woman on the move. That been said, you wouldn't need to carry it around that often, given the battery capacity. The Nokie E71 also comes complete with a 2GB microSD card to store all those important documents & images. Included in box is the usual CD with the required PC sync software. However, the handsfree is one piece, meaning you can't use the hands-free remote with another headset. Finally, there's the usual paperwork; manuals, guides and a few leaflets. The Nokia E71 comes with Nokia's amazing 1500 mAh BP-4L Li-Po battery. Which boasts upto 410 hours of stand-by time and an amazing 10 and a half hours of talk time, now that's more than impressive. Our verdictIt's a really well-constructed phone; smooth suave and sophisticated finish give it the wow factor. For general, all round business gadgetry the E71 packs a lot and we believe will be an even better to that of its predecessor, the Nokia E61. It will of course be considered against the offerings of HTC, BlackBerry and Apple iPhone but it is perhaps an unfair comparison. No, it's not the very best at email, nor does it out-perform the iPhone but then this isn't a touch screen, and there is compromise in every handset and we think the balance is pretty good with the E71. All told, we give 5 stars for this one (and no, we've never been given a free one or a pay-off, that's just how we roll with the scores). Key features of the Nokia E71 |
